Y is for Yoga, such a necessary practise in our busy lives. A time and space to disconnect from the noise. A quiet calm to search inside. A stretching of the body and mind. A fluid circle of breathing and consciousness.
How else to deal with all the stress and noise? To block out the distractions and reconnect with yourself? How to stop the anxiety and pressure? With life moving faster and faster, the constant distractions clamouring for your attention, no wonder we get a little crazy. If you don’t already practise yoga, then this might be the answer.

W is for Writing, such a complex and interesting process. So filled with nuances and emotions. So many different ways to place thoughts and concepts on a blank page. Writing bares the soul and lays open the heart.
Writing has so many varied facets. From old-school banging out words on a typewriter to more sophisticated keyboards on our gleaming computer and phones. From achingly beautiful calligraphy to hand-written scribbles, writing is a part of who we are as humans.
V is for Vermut, so very delicious and refreshing. So intrinsically linked to lazy Sundays and gorgeous summer days. The perfect amount of ice, the sweet taste offset by bitter orange and luscious olive. The intense flavour and sensations.
U is for Unique, a certain je ne sais quoi, an elusive quality, something that you can’t quite put your finger on. That batch of elements and characteristics that makes a person special, a situation extraordinary, an object that becomes special. Something or someone that is different, particular, magical.

R is for Red Berries, so luscious and juicy. Bursting with flavour, a curious sensation and texture for the tongue. A childhood fascination that never seems to end. A promise of delicious desserts and rambling walks in forests, of stained mouths and hands.
There is something about the colour, the texture, the tiny seeds… From raspberries to strawberries, cranberries to cherries, common berries that we love and know, spanning through to the lesser known red mulberry and lingonberries, so popular in Sweden.
Q is for Questions, such an endless parade. A mind-boggling whirl of constant thoughts and emotions. A sign that we are alive, a beacon of intelligence. Questions help define who we are and what we are doing, they help us to formulate opinions and reinforce our values.
